Art in the City
Sculpture proposals for a public art project in Birmingham, inspired by natural geode formations. Sculpture One to sit outside Grand Central Station made from natural grasses and plants to inject greenery into the concrete heart of the city and combat pollution levels. Sculpture Two situated in Cannon Hill Park, made from Copper and Granite to introduce an element of the urban environment and connect the space to the city.

Abstracted views of buildings both digital and photographic exploring the importance of line and form. Developed into pattern based work that became a publication and inspiration for future sculptural work.
